How long does it take to be approved for Nexus card?
For Conditional approval it may take between 1 to 10 weeks. Once your application has been processed from our team, it can take from a couple of weeks to about 3 months, depending on different factors that you should have in mind:
• Due to the fact that more people are applying during the summer season, sometimes it takes over 8 weeks for conditional approval which is normal. If you are applying during winter time, it is usually faster as there is no long list of candidates submitting their documents in that time of the year.
• Also, bear in mind that if you are submitting a paper application by mail to the Processing Centers in Niagara Falls or Montreal will add extra time for processing as well, due to the fact that CBSA will have to mail you back with your Conditional Approval Letter, which will take few weeks.
Can I apply for Nexus with my whole family?
Yes, you can. All you need to do is to visit our family renewal page and follow the instructions. Please, bear in mind that there is no one form for the whole family. You must submit separate forms for each member, including children and infants.
